character and culture of our diverse and exciting town. It will be
a place to connect and create memories through unique
experiences and ever-changing opportunities.
Culture as a catalyst
While other elements of our ten-year Blueprint aim to inject
life into the town’s hospitality, leisure and retail offer, Our
Cultural Heart will focus on experiences and giving people
more reasons to visit. Not only will it increase footfall and
provide real benefits in the here and now, but it will also act
as a major catalyst to drive further investment and economic
growth, helping new and existing businesses to thrive.
