10 June 2025 —
Kirklees Council, in collaboration with Our Cultural Heart architects Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios, is inviting everyone to get involved in two ‘Connected by Pattern’ workshops – an opportunity to create unique designs that reflect Kirklees’ community, past, present and future.
Taking place on June 20th and 21st, from 11am to 3pm at the West Yorkshire Print Workshop in the Piazza in Huddersfield town centre, these drop-in sessions are part of the wider Our Cultural Heart regeneration project and the WOVEN Festival.
The event invites artists, creatives, and curious minds to collaborate on a unique fabric artwork that will be displayed in Huddersfield’s upcoming new museum and art gallery.
Led by professional artists, the workshop includes fun introductory exercises, pattern-making techniques, and print sessions designed to inspire and connect participants. Whether you’re a seasoned creative or trying something new, this is a chance to be part of telling Kirklees’ story through design.
